A Blue day at Whistler

Rode Whistler Bike Park today and had a blast! The sun was out and the temperature was a comfortable 18 degrees. The trails were wet from the down pours which occurred on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. I believe this kept the crowds away and made for a quiet day on the hill.

We took it easy, warming up on B-Line (upper and lower). This run was super muddy at the top with huge mud bogs formed on the berms. One full run on this and we were done with B-Line. Moved on to Crank It Up, which was in great shape. We found it tacky, but not muddy. Played mostly on this run all day, with a quick run down A-Line for good measures – A-Line (only black run of the day) is in good shape as compared to B-Line. Definitely a challenging, but super fun run. In total, put in eight laps and called it a day.

Happy Trails!
