Log Jam

Svoboda System, Nelson, British Columbia, Canada

Log Jam is a technical singletrack trail that serves as a great warm up to the lower trails found off the Svoboda Traverse. The trail is more of a cross-country ride than an all-mountain/downhill. The first few hundred metres start with a pedal up a gradual and somewhat technical slope. This is followed by some more undulating terrain, before you start your short but fun descent down to the Svoboda Road and the Svoboda Traverse junction. From there go left on to Svoboda Traverse if you’re looking to access one of the numerous trails found on the lower mountain, or climb back up Svoboda Road to access the Paper Bag trailhead; arguably the best ride on the mountain.

Please avoid riding this area in extremely dry or wet condition as not to damage the trails.
