Fromme, North Shore, British Columbia, CanadaLower Ladies is dangerous enough that it’s about a hair’s breadth from being a double black. While most of the trail is only moderately dangerous, it crisscrosses a steep hillside which makes some of the corners and rolls super steep, The run outs are no better, spitting you out onto narrow, exposed sections of trail where an inexperienced rider can easily blow off the trail and end up rolling down the hillside. Be ready to get off and walk a few sections if you’re not on your A game. The good news is that Digger has been working on the trail of late. The entrance to Lower Ladies has been made a lot more obvious (and easier) and some of the more dangerous moves have been smoothened out. Let’s be clear, the more are still dangerous, just now much smoother. Digger has also built a perfectly angled roller coaster that takes riders from a slow crawl to a startling acceleration and back down again in the space of about 20 feet.
