SHAFT

Moose Mountain, Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada

SHAFT is an acronym that stands for Super Happy Awesome Fun Trail. This trail is just that, Super Fun! Built with the beginner to intermediate rider in mind, SHAFT is now the longest downhill trail located on Moose Mountain. Different from trails like T-Dub or Jean-Guy, this trail is all about the flow; no manmade structures are to be found on this trail. You can really get your groove on as you glide down the smooth switchbacks and utilize the bermed corners to carry your speed down the trail.

SHAFT is a great trail to use when introducing beginner to intermediate riders to downhill riding as it will help them build the skills and confidence required to ride the more advanced trails on Moose Mountain.

SHAFT is a part of the Moose Mountain trail network and is the first complete new trail built by MMBTS. Visit the Moose Mountain trail page for more information on the trails that make this area so much fun to ride.
