T-Dub

Moose Mountain, Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada

T-Dub combines technical steeps with plenty of rocks and an abundance of roots for one heck of a descent. Manmade and natural trail features are scattered all the way down the trail. Expect some large drops, massive roll downs and big rocks.

In 2008 a re-route of the gully (Balboa gully) section was completed to enhance the trail sustainability. This option runs along the left side of the hill in a constant but flowy state. To avoid the gully and ride the re-route keep left, after crossing the first meadow. For those looking to experience a bit more gnar and wanting to hit the new jump line at the end of the gully, with the optional "whale tail" TTF, ride right down the gully entrance. The end of the gully meets up again at the entrance to the second meadow. The choice to ride either or, depends on your experience and comfort hitting large TTFs.

T-Dub is a part of the Moose Mountain trail network. Visit the Moose Mountain trail page, for more information on the trails that make this area so much fun to ride.

Options

A more advanced option does exist at the south end of the second meadow. Keep right to enter a super fun section of manmade stunts (TTFs) with options to get airborne. If you choose to keep left, you’ll be greeted with a super-fast and flowy trail that follows the original T-Dub line.
