Bowmont Park

Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Located in the northwest of the City, this area offers some great riding for locals looking to get out on some fun singletrack during the week. The singletrack trails follow the Bow River and in many instances hug the escarpment. A multi-use area, one can also expect paved lanes and wide doubletrack.

The suggested loop is only one of many options available when riding the Park. It covers the park from one end to the other; which way you choose to ride it is up to you.

Was good yesterday, tacky, but its probably getting too muddy with the rain today.

Most of Sideshow is dry where it is exposed to the sun. Loose and dusty. Lots of mud in the trees and bushes past the logs. Had to traverse a lot to avoid leaving ruts. Decided to take the pathway halfway through back to the car. Probably will be completely dry by next week.

Went for a ride through the park last weekend, almost all of the snow is gone. Well worth a visit for those itching to get some single track in!

Probably still muddy down lower. Going to recon the trails tomorrow and follow up.
