CBT Mainline

Golden, British Columbia, Canada

The new CBT Mainline trail connects the Moonraker Trails and Town. The trail was completed in the fall of 2010. A sweet x-country route that can be ridden both directions; up or down. Expect moderate switchbacks all the way up to the Moonraker Trails carpark. Aside from a couple of steep sections, overall this trail climbs very well; with a number of gradual sections that allow you to catch your breath and recover.

It’s primarily used as a connector trail to the Moonraker Trails, but can be ridden as an out and back. A number of the switchbacks have some really nice bermed corners which make for an awesome, high speed, descend.

A big thanks goes to the Golden Cycling Club for building this new sweet piece of trail and to the Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) for funding the project.
