Trail information: I would suggest staying away from the Pig Jump trail. When we rode it, it was very overgrown. Our favourites were 3 Blind Mice, Go Go Gadget and Log Drops.
Cougar MTB Park

Cougar MTB Park is a great place to ride if you want to get away from the busy Rotorua trail network. Only a 40 minute drive from Rotorua, these trails offer an alternative and something a little different.The Park consists of about 35km of x-country trails. Mostly flat, these trails are great for beginner and intermediate riders. Well marked, they are easy to follow.

Trailhead:
Heading southeast from Tokoroa on State Highway 1 turn left on to Mossop Road, 500 metres pass the Info Centre. Turn left again after another 500 metres – there is a big Cougar MTB Park sign indicating to turn left onto this one lane dirt road. The trails start at the end of the road near the cricket grounds.
