Happy Creek Trail System
Hinton, Alberta, Canada
The Happy Creek Trail System is a local favourite and may be accessed from the Bike Park. Made up of singletrack and doubletrack trails, this area has a wide variety of trail types well suited to the intermediate and advanced rider. Beginner riders will enjoy the short section of boardwalks and Town Trails that provide access to this area.
Happy Creek is best described as a x-country mountain bike area, with short sections of singletrack, a mix of roots, technical trail features (TTFs), boardwalks and climbs. The total length of all trails combined is just over 26 kilometres.
Head up to the EZ trail lookout to take in the phenomenal view of the Rocky mountains and the valley below. Or, if you’re on the hunt for TTFs, check out the trail Just Giver. Just Giver is an older trail with a number of huge trail features, built for the expert rider in mind. Please note that a large number of the TTFs are starting to show their age; therefore, please check all stunts before riding them. For an alternative route from/to the bike park, try riding down Slowcooker.
