Jack’s Trail System
Hinton, Alberta, Canada
Jack’s Trail System is a short but fun trail linking a variety of singletrack and doubletrack trails to form a 10 kilometre loop. The trail may be ridden either direction, but for the best flow ride it clockwise. A small number of technical trail features (TTFs) can be found on the lower part of the trail (mainly on Erin’s Extreme Ending); all TTFs are optional. Please be warned that some of these TTFs are not in the best of shape and therefore it is advised that you check all TTFs before riding.
The trail is primarly made up of tight singletrack that winds its way up gradually to the highest point before returning back down again for a complete loop. Roots and tight trees, along with open sections of ATV trail, which passes through a marshy section, make this an interesting ride. Watch out for Moose that are found frequenting the area. The trail pops out on a short section of logging road –please watch out for cars/trucks.
