Jim’s Trail

Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada

Jim’s Trail is part of the Pumphouse Trails network and located on the west end of this area. To access this advanced singletrack ride, take Dean Martin across to Brewster Lake Road. From there ride north up Brewster Lake to the Access Road (first road on the right) and pedal east along the dirt road to the fork. At the fork keep right all the way up to the radio tower where the Access Road ends. Jim’s Trail begins up the short rocky section just ahead. Ride up the short rock slab and begin your quick descent all the way back to the Access Road. From there choose your own adventure combining the no name Pumphouse Trails or return via Dean Martin.

Jim’s Trail is a short, but fun technical ride mostly made up of rock slabs and tight singletrack sections. The trail descends back down to the Access Road, making it a fast technical ride. Do it once to get the feel for the trail and go back up again for another rip once you know how well it flows. Just be careful in the fall and winter when the trail is super wet and slick; the slabs get very slippery during this time of year.
