Lumpy’s Epic

Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada

Lumpy’s Epic is a part of the One Mile Lake Area x-country/all-mountain trail system. It is a super technical and challenging trail, with some incredible views of the Green River and Mt. Currie as you crest out at a rock bluff. Tight switchbacks, loose rocky sections, rock slabs and super fun descents make this roller coaster of a ride a good time for the advanced to expert rider.

There are several ways to access Lumpy’s, but the most popular route is to take the Sea-to-Sky trail over to the Overhill trail. Pedal up Overhill for less than 50 m and turn right onto Nairn/One-Mile, which will take you across to the Lumpy’s trailhead. The climb up Lumpy’s Epic will switchback on a rooty and rocky singletrack and finishes at the well-marked junction for K2. Continue right, down a section of rolling slab. The slab gets steeper and more challenging near the end of this awesome section. The rest of the trail will greet the rider with more slab options, roots and rocks, all found along this exciting singletrack. The final descent will spit you out on a horse trail, take a left and follow the trail back to the One Mile Lake.
