Mudhoney Pass

Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada

Mudhoney Pass is a great intermediate singletrack which begins only a few hundred metres from the Lost Lake parking area in Snowden. The trail runs deep in the rainforest with a few roots and rocks found along some of the more technical sections of trail. This is a great trail for intermediate riders wanting to take it up a notch, while advanced to expert riders will find this a fun ride. Mudhoney Pass is a great warm up, serving as a fun connector to some of the more advanced trails in the area; including Scotty’s.

Mudhoney Pass is best ridden counter clockwise back to Lost Lake trail. Short ups and quick downs keep things interesting along this trail, while the tight and winding corners will keep you on your toes. Combine Mudhoney Pass with Scotty’s, over to Riley Lake and back along Tri Mac for a shorter, but technically challenging loop. If you’re looking for something less intimidating, try Mudhoney Pass over to Lost Lake and back down to the Lost Lake Parking. Many options exist in this area and it’s really up to your to choose your own adventure.
