Nairn/One-Mile

Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada

Nairn/One-Mile is a technically challenging x-country trail which can be ridden to Nairn Falls campground or used to connect with Lumpy’s Epic. The trail gradually climbs up a rooty and rocky singletrack until you reach the trailhead for Lumpy’s. From there continue climbing up Lumpy’s Epic (advanced trail) or descend (right) to Nairn Falls campground. Word of warning; if you found the pedal up Nairn beyond your ability consider skipping Lumpy’s all together as this is an advanced trail, much more challenging than Nairn. If you decided to descend down to the campground, look for the gravel path heading over to Nairn Falls. Follow the path to the falls, which are worth a peek. To head back retrace your steps or choose to pedal back along the Sea to Sky trail, an easier route.

The trailhead for Nairn is accessed via the Overhill Trail. Begin by riding up the Sea to Sky trail directly from the One Mile Lake parking lot. Turn left up on to Overhill, clearly marked, and pedal 50 m up Overhill to the sign for Lumpy’s. Follow the sign for Lumpy’s (right); this is the start of Nairn.
