Ole Buck Loop

Kanananskis, Alberta, Canada

Ole Buck Loop is best ridden clockwise for added flow, but can be ridden either direction. The trail is a short singletrack loop with two lookout points, the first offering the best view on the trail. When riding the trail clockwise, once you come to the first lookout (wooden bench), keep left following the hiker sign on the tree; going straight leads to a dead end.

The ride is 100% flowy singletrack for the first 3/4 of trail. The last section can be overgrown in the summer as it runs through a field. Ole Buck Loop is a fun ride to enjoy with your family when camping or visiting the area, but not worth a special trip out. On a hot day bring your swim suit and jump in Sibbald Lake to cool off and enjoy the water after your ride.
