- Pneuma Trailhead now well marked
- Nearing the summit, b4 it gets steep

If you’re looking for more of an all-mountain/downhill ride and don’t have an extra vehicle to shuttle Moose Mountain Road, then climb Pneuma to the start of several downhill runs located on Moose. Combine it with any of the downhill trails in the area to complete an exhilarating loop. I would suggest climbing Pneuma to the end of Moose Mountain Road and taking SHAFT down to Ing’s Mine, from there pedaling along the road to the Pneuma trailhead.
For the ultimate x-country loop, take Pneuma all the way to the start of Moosepackers. Moosepackers will connect you with Tom Snow and Ridgeback; choose either or to get back to Station Flats. Tom Snow is the easier option if you’re tired and don’t want to extend your ride. However, Ridgeback is the better option for a sweeter ride. Plan about 2.5 to 4.5 hours when riding this loop (Pneuma – Moose Packers – Ridgeback).
GPS of the Moose Mountain Loop (Pneuma to Moose Packers to Ridgeback) can be downloaded here.
