Trail information/options
There is an option to extend or loop (lollypop) your ride by taking the 5.7 km extension down towards the Kananaskis River; as shown on the map above. There you’ll spot a number of broken bridges, before making your way back up to the main trail. This route sees a large amount of horse traffic and is not recommended. The trail extension/option has seen better days. Large exposed roots, loose rocks, and eroded trail make for tough going when on your mountain bike. You may find yourself dismounting your bike often to get through this section of trail, which should really be rated intermediate to advanced.
