Bathtub Trail is a fun beginner x-country singletrack trail that follows the Lillooet’s River bank northeast of Pemberton Village. It may be accessed right from town or via the Mackenzie Basin Loop trail. Combine it with TeePee Trail for a fun filled family lollipop loop, or use it to access the Mackenzie Area. There are a couple of wide low lying bridges crossing a section of swamp found on the east end of the trail. The remainder of the trail runs along a buff singletrack through a heavily wooded area. There is no elevation gain along the route of this trail, meaning no climbs to endure. This is a great trail to enjoy with your family or for beginner riders new to riding in the area. You can easily ride to Bathtub Trail from town and combine it with other trails in the area if you’re looking for something more challenging. This trail is easy to navigate and fun to cruise along on.

Access to Bathtub Trail is via the Mackenzie Basin Loop when beginning your ride from the gravel pit. Ride or drive east from the village to Pemberton Farm Road E.. Turn up Pemberton Farm Road E. and continue to the gravel pit ahead. From the pit pedal across the railroad tracks and turn left at the first fork, onto Mackenzie Basin Loop. Follow this road all the way out to the Bathtub trailhead. You will cross the tracks two more times, before arriving at the Bathtub trailhead located to the left, just after Happy Trail.
