Brewster Creek is an out-and-back trail that takes you along a well-used horse trail up the Brewster Creek Valley to the Sundance Lodge. The lodge is a private retreat run by Holiday on Horseback and services are for guests only.

This is an intermediate ride, best ridden in dry conditions. The trail is well worn and can be extremely muddy at times, especially in the spring and fall. Access is via Healy Creek or the Sundance Trail. When ridden from Healy Creek, the round trip is 21 km.

Please note that the bridge crossing Healy Creek was destroyed in the 2013 floods. A new bridge is being constructed and should be completed by the winter of 2014, once again providing access to the trail and to Brewster Creek from Sunshine Road. Until then, access to Brewster Creek is via the east end of Healy Creek from the Sundance Trail.

TRAILHEAD | N51 09.453 W115 39.640

Recommended access is via Healy Creek. From Hwy 1 take the Sunshine Road exit and drive for about 1 km to the Healy Creek parking area located to the left of the road. From the parking lot ride east along Healy Creek for 2 km to the Brewster Creek trailhead.
