Do you love the trails around Canmore? The Open Space and Trails Plan guides the planning of the trails and paths in Canmore (as well as parks, playgrounds, off leash parks, and other open spaces). It’s currently in draft form, and they’re looking for your input.
The late fall and early spring has been an active one for the Pemberton Valley Trail Association (PVTA) and for local builders; they’ve been busy building, expanding and improving on the already significant trail network. A mild winter in the Sea to Sky corridor meant there was plenty of time to ride and dig. And dig they did in Pemberton. Here’s the skinny on the new dirt.
If you love to ride, Squamish has had a dream winter. One snowfall, not an outrageous amount of rain, and some unbelievably mild temps. My riding has been largely uninterrupted, and my drivetrain is showing the wear of over 12 months of continuous pedaling.
