Another beauty of a trail brought to you by Dan Raymond, the trail builder behind A Rock Work Orange. This is Dan’s first trail! I found this hard to believe, as only very few builders nail it on their first go and create a trail that is such a treat to ride. Korova Milk Bar is one of those incredibly raw routes that descends perfectly manicured mossy rock lines, and offers up jaw dropping views. Not to mention, it contains some really challenging cruxes along various spots of the trail. Korova Milk Bar is located in the Westside area of Whistler and maintains a similar flavour to A Rockwork Orange. It is ridden in combination with Rockwork, for an exhilarating ride paralleling the Flank Trail. Expert riders will combine A Rockwork Orange with Korova Milk Bar, followed by Wizard Burial Ground (expert) to descend down towards Whip Me Snip Me. Korova Milk Bar is designed to flow one way, north.

Korova Milk Bar trailhead is easily spotted on the east side of the Flank Trail, 90 m north of the exit to A Rockwork Orange. The trailhead sign is found a ways down the trail, but the access is very apparent. From the turn off, Korova Milk Bar begins with a short up and over a rock, followed by a skinny log ride over top a fallen tree. Down the narrow slab you’ll roll and will be greeted with several more tight and steep rolls onto incredibly smooth run outs, before popping out onto several ridge lines running along exposed cliff bands. Stop and take in the views, or not, as flowing down this trail uninterrupted is part of the fun. The trail is built to keep your flow, stopping impedes this – it’s really hard to take a break when you’re having this much fun. A little more challenging than A Rockwork Orange, Korova Milk Bar offers up several cruxes along its route that will challenge even the expert rider. There are a few options/ride arounds for the super gnarly stuff, but don’t be fooled this trail deserves its advanced (black) rating. This is a great ride, well-worth checking out and is a must do when combined with A Rockwork Orange.
