Miners’ is a part of the fun x-country network of trails located at Red Mountain. A good cardio workout, Miners trail climbs, sometimes steeply, up singletrack and old mining roads to a junction, where it meets the Redtop trail. Expect a buff and switchbacking trail rideable in both directions. The climb up is quick and for the most part painless, while descending the trail is fast and flowy. The trail passes through a forested area, providing some much needed shade from the heat and blistering sun in the summer.

Miners provides direct access to Redtop, when accessing the area via Centennial trail. Take Centennial trail from the Centennial trailhead over to Larry’s, continue up Larry’s to the Miners trailhead and climb to Redtop from there. You will come to a junction at the end of Miners for Redtop and Redhead. Follow the sign left, taking you up onto the fire road. The access road connects with the singletrack trail Redtop, a few hundred metres up from the turn-off. From there continue to climb to the summit via Redtop.
