Moosejah Connector is an advanced singletrack trail located in the Mosquito Lake Area. It serves as an important link between the first and second section of Mission Impossible. Riders new to the area will most likely not even notice when they’ve merged onto Moosejah, as they continue to descend towards the second section of Mission Impossible. The Moosejah Connector feels like it’s a part of Mission, offering up a similar ride to the trail. The actual trailhead for Moosejah Connector is accessed via Dark Forest and the full length of the trail should not be discounted as it’s a fun roller coaster of a ride. Once you pop out onto the old access road, you’ve come to the end of Moosejah Connector. To keep descending, continue across the access road onto the second part of Mission Impossible. If you take the access road right, it pops out onto the Mackenzie FSR. Left takes you over to the trail Dark Forest and the start of an unnamed trail connecting to Crosstown Traffic.

The Moosejah Connector is meant to be ridden east to west from Dark Forest. It begins with a short up before a steep rock slab descent into a well bermed corner. It’s followed by a tight singletrack traversing a bench before dropping down towards the old access road and start to section two of Mission Impossible. There are several rolling jumps along Mossejah’s route, with a committing technical option found about halfway down the trail; two line choices down some loose and steep rocky bits. Navigate this section with care, as you will pick up speed into the well bermed corner at the end. The last bit of trail continues with a few more rollable jumps and some nice bermed corners, taking the rider all the way out to the access road.

Access to Moosejah Connector is via Dark Forest (section 1) and found 800 m down (south) the trail. Once you cross the bridge on Dark Forest, look for a large wood carved trailhead sign straight ahead indicating the start of Moosejah Connector. Dark Forest keeps left, while Moosejah climbs straight up and out into a clearing with some great views of the valley.
