Radio Tower is a fun intermediate singletrack trail which descends from a radio tower to the trailhead for Crosstown Traffic, located in the Mosquito Lake Area. It also provides access to the awesome Mission Impossible trail located a few hundred metres down its route, not too far from its trailhead. It’s a great trail meant to be ridden west to east and can easily be combine with Crosstown Traffic for an intermediate loop ending back on the Mackenzie FSR.

Radio Tower begins from the west end of Linda Road right below the Hydro Cut trail. It starts on a doubletrack trail which quickly turns into a nice flowy singletrack, just as you pass the radio tower. There are a couple of rock slabs near the actual radio tower to negotiate, but after that the trail is pretty mellow as it gradually descends towards the trailhead for Crosstown Traffic – located at the intersection where Dark Forest crosses. Continue down Crosstown Traffic or take a right onto Dark Forrest to finish at the old 4WD access road. My suggestion is to keep descending down Crosstown Traffic, making your way across the Mission Impossible to the Mackenzie FSR.

From the gravel pit located on Pemberton Farm Road East, ride up the Mackenzie FSR until you pass the 2 km marker. Just past the marker, at the fork, keep right. This is Linda Road. Continue up Linda for a few pedal strokes to the doubletrack heading right, south of Linda Road. This is the trailhead for Radio Tower.
