The Redhead Loop combines most of the trails located in the Red Mountain Trails network for an action packed route. A locals favourite, the loop pulls together some of the most flowy and buff singletrack in the area, with a few technical sections along the Redhead trail, for an incredibly fun filled ride. Short, but strenuous climbs are followed by fast roller-coaster descents, while short sections of rocks, skinnies and bridges sheltered by the cool cedar forest make this a great ride on a hot day. The best word to describe this loop is FLOW. Whether you’re climbing or descending, you will find this x-country loop flows at all times.

An option or add on to this action packed loop is taking Redtop above Redhead to the Red Mountain summit, adding about 25 – 45 min to your loop. This addition is well worth it; not only for the spectacular views, but for the fun descend down Redtop. Finish the loop by taking Moe’s or Larry’s, back down to Centennial trail. Both options are fast and fun, and a great way to end the ride.
