Riley Lake is a great intermediate trail ride, best used to connect some of the more advanced trails in the Snowden Demonstration Forest. It may be combined with Lost Lake, or the Lookout Loop trail, for a fun intermediate ride for those looking to experience something a little bit less exhilarating. Otherwise look to connect with Aunty Nancy, Oggies, Viad The Impaler, Gun Barrel, Head Banger Hookup or Pepper Spray if you want to ride some of the best technical trails found in this area.

Riley Lake includes a few creek crossings over some well-built, low-lying, bridge structures and a number of rooty sections. Overall the trail is relatively smooth, making it a fun and flowy ride.
