SLF is an expert downhill run located on Moose Mountain. If you like steeps, rocky sections, with Technical Trail Features (TTFs) thrown in to spice things up, then you’ll love this trail. All TTFs found on SLF are for the advanced to expert rider; don’t even try riding them unless you got the skill. The consequence of missing a gap or rolling off a skinny ladder, are high. Now that you’ve been warned, for those with the skill set will love the elevated TTFs, jumps and steep rocky bits. Definitely one of the harder trails found on Moose Mountain.

SLF stands for Satan’s Little Fluffers, an appropriate name for this trail. The trail is broken up into two sections, upper SLF and lower SLF, providing an option out of the lower part of SLF altogether if you find yourself in over your head. Upper SLF meets up with Jean Guy and continues down it for about 280 metres. You can choose to ride out on Jean Guy to complete your run, or continue down SLF. The access to lower SLF is located to your right as you pop out of the woods into a small clearing. Jean Guy will continue straight ahead back into the trees, while lower SLF will head right.

Access SLF via Moose Mountain Road. Drive 5.5 km up Moose Mountain Road and look for the trailhead to your left; west side of the road. It is clearly marked, with a pull off in front of it. Next to SLF is the trailhead to Toothless.
