Smell the Glove is an intermediate singletrack trail found in the Mosquito Lake Area. It is primarily used to access the second half of Grumpy Grouse or to link with the lower section of Ramble On. There are a few short ups along Smell the Glove, but if you’re moving you’ll hardly notice them. The first half of the trail sees little use and will be overgrown in the summer months, making it a rough ride. The second part is a fun and flowy section littered with small rocks and roots. Grumpy Grouse merges with Smell the Glove at the halfway point, before it peels off again about 80 m down the trail. Keep left to stay on Smell the Glove or take lower Grumpy Grouse down to Dark Forest.
The trailhead for Smell the Glove is found 20 m south of Econoline. The trail begins right after the Econo-Dave trailhead sign and heads straight (east) past the sign into a short overgrown section of trail. The trailhead sign for Smell the Glove is found about 100 m down the trail, signifying you’re on the right track.
